Hichains Thailand Logistics Park Project Officially Breaks Ground

2026-06-02 20:00

On June 2, 2026, Hichains held a groundbreaking and pile‑driving ceremony for its logistics park project in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. The company was joined by representatives from the local government, project partners and key customers to witness this milestone moment. The successful driving of the first pile marked the official start of substantive construction for the project.

Deepening Overseas Footprint, Serving Global Customers

The logistics park is located in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, a location with excellent geographical advantages and convenient transportation. Covering a total area of approximately 31 rai (approx. 49,600 sqm), the project plans to build modern high‑standard warehouses and integrated supporting facilities. Upon completion, the park will focus on serving the supply chain needs of industries such as consumer electronics, offering customers comprehensive production logistics services covering raw material warehousing, in‑factory logistics and finished goods dispatch – helping to ensure efficient supply chain operations for clients in Southeast Asia.

This project represents an important practice of replicating Hichains’s mature production logistics solutions and automated operational expertise – developed in China – in overseas markets. With over a decade of experience in the advanced manufacturing supply chain sector, Hichains has built an integrated service capability spanning digital operations, intelligent equipment and automated integration. The launch of the Thailand project is a critical step in the company’s globalisation strategy, and a major response to customers’ needs for production capacity relocation and localised supply chain support.

High‑Standard Construction, Orderly Progress

Since its planning stage, the project has completed scheme design, construction preparation and other preliminary work. The site is now fully ready for construction. The official start of piling work signals that the project has entered the substantive construction phase.

Once completed, the facility will be equipped with modern warehousing management, automated operations and digitalised operational capabilities, delivering efficient, stable and traceable supply chain services to customers. Hichains will drive the project forward with high standards and strict requirements, ensuring that all work proceeds in an orderly manner.

Continued Expansion, Steady Progress

In recent years, Hichains has actively seized development opportunities arising from global supply chain restructuring and has steadily expanded its overseas business footprint. The company has established subsidiaries or service points in Thailand, Vietnam, Germany, the United States, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands and New Zealand, initially building a global service network covering Southeast Asia, Europe & the Americas and the Middle East.

The start of construction of the Thailand logistics park marks a significant milestone in the company’s overseas strategy – extending its reach from a “service network” to “physical assets”. Looking ahead, Hichains will continue to deepen its presence in the advanced manufacturing supply chain sector, delivering value to customers with digitalised, intelligent and globalised service capabilities, generating returns for shareholders and contributing to the development of the industry.
